Getting Started

Hello there new comer. So you've decided to become part of the OPPCraft community; Great, welcome!

Once you have connected to the server using the IP: play.oppcraft.net and said your welcomes, it would be advisable you look over this quick guide to help you get on your way.

On this page we'll show you the basics to living peacefully on the server with helpful hints and guides to the plugins that you can use to protect yourself and land.

First off, we should mention the rules ("OMG RULEZ! NOOO"). Don't be afraid, the rules of the server are pretty simple.

• Use common sense
• If it's not yours, don't use or take it.
• No abuse towards other members.
• It's common sense, use it...
• Use common judgment
• If you have doubts on it, it's probably wrong. (But it doesn't hurt to ask). Again, refer to common sense.
• Lock your furnaces, chests, anvils, enchanting tables, spawners (You'll probably lose them if you don't).
• Although swearing is allowed, we do ask to keep it tame and low.
• Build at least 150 blocks from /spawn (It's getting crowded...don't need anymore people there...)
• It is advised you visit the blog regularly for updates on the server.

A quick guide to the server!

Lockette 

Lockette allows you to lock your doors, chests, furnaces, enchanting tables, spawners and anvils to your player using signs and is highly advised that you use this plugin. Simple right click the listed block with a sign and it will automatically lock it for you.

Lockette can also be used on doors, simple put a sign above the door, on the first line type [Private]. DONE!

If you are having trouble right clicking an item, hold down SHIFT + Right Click, this will place the sign without the chest opening.

Warps, homes and way-points

Currently you can set your home point anywhere you'd like. Either by right clicking a bed or with the command /sethome. You can then do the command /home. This will teleport you to where ever you were standing when you did the sethome command.

Your very own protection plugin!

I have installed a plugin which allows you to place a block, this creates a region around the block which links to your character. This means only you, or whoever you let into the region, will be able to build/destroy/interact within that region. This great plugin is available to [F] Flyers+ (Since we don't want just random people coming in and randomly placing protected zones everywhere).

The plugin is called: Protection Stones.

The config has changed from the default blocks. (All extend from bedrock to sky limit).

• IRONORE = 5 Block Radius Protection. (11 x 11 area protection).
• LAPISORE = 10 Block Radius Protection. (21 x 21 area).
• GOLDORE = 20 Block Radius Protection (41 x 41 area);
• EMERALDORE = 50 Block Radius Protection (101 x 101 area).
• SPONGE = 100 Block Radius Protection (201 x 201 area) (Only given for big cities or competition prizes.)

Features

TNT is disabled inside the region.
No one (except the region members) can interact with redstone, doors etc...

How to use?

Size up the area you want to protect (Protection Stones stack and overlap). If you have a building that takes up a 40 x 40 block area, place a GOLDORE block in the center to protect the whole building at once.

How do I let friends build in the region?

You stand within the region you want them to be a member of and use the command: "/ps add PLAYERNAME"
